Cozy Supernatural Romantasy Perfect for Fall

Jayelle Ravenshade

This is a Fall read recommendation!

Fall is my absolute favorite season. Give me everything pumpkin spice, a cozy blanket and a good book and I couldn't be happier. 🍂

I discovered Gryffin Murphy on TikTok last year when she shared that she had lost her job just days before her wedding. She asked for people to please download and read her books as any little bit helped. Of course I headed off to Kindle Unlimited and downloaded all 4 books immediately.

Not being much of a romance reader or even romantasy (I read this series before A Court of Thorn and Roses!), I set off on this unknown journey purely to help out an author who was having her worst day. I just so happened to be pleasantly surprised.

I read the series (yes, all 4 books) in two days. Yes, I am a fast reader but the series was well-written enough and enjoyable enough that I binged the series. Werewolves and supernatural creatures? Yep... I'm in.

The 4 books follow Sophia (human) and Noah (werewolf) as they meet, get to know each other and ... you guessed it... fall in love. However, supernatural creatures have mates and Noah knows right away that Sophia is his mate. He 'arrowed' on her, meaning that he knew she was his mate. Sophia, as a human, is interested in him but she is not head over heels in love with him like he is with her.

The series follows the two as they overcome challenges in the relationship, feuds between other supernatural creatures and some typical youth problems. I'd classify this as a young adult romantasy but a well-done one. Young adult characters can be a bit whiny and frustrating and I didn't get that vibe from Sophia or Noah.

If you're looking for a cute, cozy series to binge while wrapped up in a warm blanket, drinking your pumpkin spice latte... this is a good one!

The entire series is available on Kindle Unlimited or you can purchase the paperbacks on Amazon.
